Elinor Donley Montgomery
 

 
1935 - 2015

Elinor MontgomeryElinor went home to be with the Lord on May 14, 2015.  She was born on Dec. 4, 1935, in Warren, the daughter of the late Hugh and Zoa Leech.  

She was a Christian and devoted follower of Jesus Christ.  The most profound and life changing experience for her was the day she invited Jesus Christ into her heart.  She served as a Sunday School teacher for children and teenagers.

She was both a wife and mother.  She was preceded in death by three of her children: Ken Donley of Nelsonville, Ohio, Debbie Sawyer and Darryl Donley of Warren Ohio.  She is survived by her remaining son, Kevin Donley of Menomonee Falls, WI. Her children were the joy of her life and she provided them a continuous example of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  She has eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She felt very blessed to have had the opportunity to work as an EEG Technician. She employed by Dr. Karl Baumgartel, Dr. Robert Gilliand, Trumbull Memorial Forum Health and retired from St Joseph Hospital.

Her hobbies included photography, reading, traveling, and baking.

When asked how she would like to be remembered, she remarked “I am nobody special. I loved God and my family with all my heart.”

There will be no calling hours and only a private family gathering as requested by Elinor. Any memorial donations may be sent Niles Christian Assembly Church.

Inurnment will take place in Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.

Selby Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.



Anne Z. Couch

1919 - 2015

Newton Falls - Anne Z. Couch, 95, died Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Hospice of the Valley in Poland, OH.

Anne was born Nov. 18, 1919, in Pittsburg, PA, the daughter of Samuel and Mary (Gerey) Zokosky

A 1938 graduate of Warren G. Harding, Anne received an Associates Degree from Tri-C  in 1976.

Anne retired in 1985 as Treasurer of North Royalton School District. She also worked as the treasurer for the Newton Falls Schools and as a telephone operator at the Warren Telephone Company.

She was a life long member of the North Park Avenue Baptist Church in Warren and was  involved with the Friends of the Library in Newton Falls and many other civic organizations.

Anne’s husband, Howard C. Couch, Sr., whom she married August 29, 1942, died September 28, 1997.

She leaves behind a son, Howard C. Couch, Jr. of Villages, FL; a daughter, Marianne C. (Pat) De Marco, of McDonald; a brother, Peter Zokosky of Long Beach, CA; and four grandchildren,  Carie De Marco of San Diego, CA, Nick De Marco of Florence, KY, Benjamin (Jackie) Couch of Wilton, CT, and Peter (Nickie) Couch of Ravenna; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Anne will be Friday, from 12 to 1 pm, with the funeral service at 1 pm, at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna. The Reverend Jim Baer will officiate the service.

The family requests that any donations be sent to Hospice of the Valley, 9803 Sharrott Rd. Poland, OH  44514.

Burial will take place in Crown Hill Burial Park.

 

Deloris F. Ramsey

1941 - 2015

RamseyVienna - Deloris Fay Ramsey, 73, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

Deloris was born on July 26, 1941 in Fayetteville, West Virginia. She lived in Vienna.

Deloiris was preceded in death by her husband, John Ramsey, Sr. They were married on February 15, 1962. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Avonna Hughes, and several siblings.

She is survived by her children, Jonna (Jim) Tait of Illinois, Donna Ramsey of Vienna, John Ramsey Jr. of Fowler; and Rose Ferry, whom she held a special place in her heart and life.

Also surviving Deloris are her grandchildren, Brett Ramsey, Amber Ramsey, Adam Tait, John Tait, Johnnie Ramsey III, Lillian Ramsey, Kayla Pentek, Kyle Ferry and Conner Ferry. She also had four great-grandchildren, Evan Ramsey, Kayden Ramsey, Ruby Ramsey and Rilee Paddock; a sister, Shelda Kortaway and a brother, Buddy Hughes.

Deloris devoted her life to caring for her family. She loved flower gardening. She also had a great love for horses, chickens and her dogs.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
