Larry Eugene Webb
1948 - 2013
Warren-Larry E. Webb passed away Monday morning at St. Joseph's Health Center, he was 64 years old.
He was born April 27, 1948 in Warren and lived there his whole life with his devoted parents Ralph and Lola (Heintz) Webb. Larry graduated from the Market Street School in 1967.
He enjoyed playing basketball, bowling, kicking the football down his street, riding his bicycle, making crafts, listening to records from the 50's and 60's, and playing bingo. He especially liked trains, whether he was playing with his electric set in his parents basement or just listening to them pass by he loved them all. He was a very kind man who could often be seen visiting his neighbors and would mow their lawns in the summer. Above all he loved his family and the time he spent with them.
Larry will be sadly missed by his caring mother Lola Webb, his brother Carl (Joyce) Webb and his sister Martha Maryhew. He also leaves behind his two nephews Mark and Jeff, and several cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father Ralph Webb, and his brother-in-law Boyd Maryhew.
Friends may call Saturday March 23, 2013 from 2-3PM at Crown Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel at 3966 Warren-Sharon Rd. Vienna Ohio. A funeral service will take place immediately following at 3:00pm with Pastor Ray Blasko officiating.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Naudean Belle Burr
1935 - 2013
Warren-Naudean Belle Burr passed away Monday March 25 2013 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, she was 77 years old.
The daughter of Charles Howard and Lottie (Muse) Burr, Naudean was born June 26, 1935 in Dorset, Ohio. In 1953 she graduated from Andover High School and went on to join the Army in June of that year. Following her discharge from the service in in 1955 she began working as an account planner for Packard Electric for 34 years until her retirement in 1993.
Naudean was a member of the Howland United Methodist Church. She loved animals, whether it be her family’s dogs or the birds she fed in her yard she loved them all. She enjoyed bowling and liked to collect wall hangings especially those depicting Loons. Above all she loved her family and the time she spent with them.
She will be sadly missed by her brother Homer (Jan) Burr of Cortland, her nieces Valerie Waibel and Denise Potvin, and her nephews Douglas (Karen) Burr, Michael (Annette) Burr, and Dr. John (Anne) Burr.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Friends and family may call from 12-1:00pm Thursday at Crown Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel. A Service will held immediately following at 1:00pm with Rev. Val Waibel officiating.
Arrangements were cared for by Selby-Heavilin Funeral Home.
She will be missed ball all who knew her.
Paul L. Walls
1925 - 2013
Howland - Paul L. Walls, 87, born in Sewickley, Pa., son of Paul L. and Vera Smith Walls graduated from Leetsdale, Pa High School.
He worked at National Electric during WWII and attended Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pa, majoring in engineering. He later attended Nyack College, Nyack, NY, graduating with a music degree, traveling with the college choir as their tenor soloist. He sang weekends with a quartet.
Paul loved sports and played baseball and basketball with his college.
August 12, 1949, he married Gladys Brandfass Walls. They loved and raised three children, Sheryl (James) Diyorio of Austintown, Paul (Deborah) of Niles and Janice (Anthony) Conturillo of Hudson. They love their seven grandchildren, Rebekah, Brian, Andrea, David, Joshua, Emily and Amanda.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James.
He directed the choir of Sewickley Baptist Church in Pa. while working as draftsman at American Bridge Co. in Ambridge, Pa. After five years, he moved to Ohio to direct choir of Christian Missionary Alliance Church on Youngstown Rd. which later became North Mar Church of Christian & Missionary Alliance. He was there and at Wean Engineering until he retired.
As a sports lover, he coached kid’s and men’s softball teams and bowled until his health stopped him.
The family would like to thank St. Joseph IMCU, Omni Manor South Wing & Hospice of the Valley.
Calling hours will be from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm with the funeral service at 2:30 pm, Wednesday, April 3, at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna. Pastor John Weisman will officiate.
Burial will take place at Crown Hill Burial Park.
Services were entrusted to Selby-Heavilin Funeral Home.
