Warren - Beatrice M. Bowers, 87, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012, at
Trumbull
Memorial Hospital in Warren.

 

Beatrice was born March 26, 1925 in Girard, Ohio, the daughter of
William and Cora (Woodward) O’Connell.

Beatrice was a graduate of Liberty High School and was later employed
by the Trumbull County Clerk of Courts Office and the Trumbull County

Soldiers and Sailors Relief Office.

She married William M. Bowers, Sr. January 3, 1948. Mr. Bowers died May
5, 2000.

Beatrice will be deeply missed by her daughter, Lynn M. (Trent)
Halliday; sons, William M. (Shirley) Bowers Jr. of Cleveland, Dennis R.
(Kaja) Bowers of Westlake and Timothy J. Bowers of Akron; three
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband William, a sister Alice, and three brothers

William, James, and Lawrence O'Connell.


A private memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 3, 2012
at Selby’s Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna.

Interment will take place in Crown Hill Burial Park.

James T. Ronian

1923 - 2012


Cortland - James T. Ronian, 88, of Cortland, died Thursday, April 5, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Hospital.

James was born June 11, 1923 in Warren, Ohio, the son of James T. and Hanna (Sheddon) Ronian.

He was a graduate of Howland High School and received a B.S. Degree from Marietta College.

James was a veteran of WWII and Vietnam, having served in the US Navy. He was the Commanding Officer for the Naval Reserve Training Center in Akron, OH. From 1967 to 1970.

James retired from Packard Electric as an engineer in 1980.

He was a member of the Howland Community Church, the Carroll F. Clapp Lodge, Mahoning Chapter of the VFW, the Masons, Trumbull County Boat Club, and was a life member of the US Navy League.

He enjoyed golfing, boating, camping and woodworking. James was the secretary for the bowling league, Navy League, and served as secretary and president of the Boat Club.

James married his wife of 66 years, Thelma E. (Dilley) Ronian on April 6, 1946.

James will be deeply missed by his wife, Thelma, his daughter Judith K. Egner, of Romulus, MI, and his son, Dale T. Ronian of Akron, four grandchildren, Valerie (Robert) Jones, Rebecca Brown, Jaime (Scott) Smith and David (Katie) Egner; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A son, Mark D. Ronian and his parents preceded James in death.

Calling hours for James will be Monday, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm with the funeral service at 2:00 pm, at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna.

Burial will take place in Crown Hill Burial Park.

Lucille M. Cardarelli

1913 - 2012

 

Warren - Lucille M. Cardarelli, 98, died Wednesday afternoon, April 25, 2012, at Cortland Healthcare after a brief illness.

Lucille was born September 11, 1913 in Warren, the daughter of

Michael and Mary (Danessa) Di Loreto.

She retired from Masters Cleaners as a cashier/clerk in 1979.

Lucille enjoyed big-band music, lawn concerts, old movies, word-search puzzles and dinning out with family and friends.

Lucille is survived by a daughter, Paula “Polly” Tackett of Vienna; a brother, Nick Di Loreto and a sister, Edna Di Loreto, both of Warren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Vera Dager, Matilda “Tilly” Len and Rose Clementi; nephew, Joseph Len and her son-in-law Raymond “Cecil” Tackett.

Calling hours will be 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with the funeral service at 12:00 pm, Monday at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna.

Entombment will take place in Crown Hill Burial Park.

The family has asked that any material contributions, in memory of Lucille, be made to: . Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St. Youngstown, Ohio 44512.
