Ray A. Andrews
1926 - 2010
Hartford - Ray “Bud” Andrews, Jr., 84, of Harford, died Sunday, October 10, 2010, at his residence.
Ray was born February 23, 1926, in Warren, Ohio, the son of Ray and Mary (Smith) Andrews Sr.
He was a graduate of Warren G. Harding and attended Ohio University.
Ray served in the US Navy during WWII as a Signalman, 3rd Class.
Ray was a dairy farmer and worked at Packard Electric for 18 years, retiring in 1986.
He was a member of the Harford Community Church, enjoyed nature and had a love for dogs and shopping. Ray was also an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Ray leaves behind two nephews, Richard and Thomas Fish of Orlando, Fla; and niece, Susan Fish of Orlando, Fla.
He will be sadly missed by Lynda Witchey, Betty Smith and Sylvia Meikle and many neighbors in Hartford.
Ray’s parents and sister, Jean Fish preceded him in death.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm with the funeral service at 5:00 pm at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna.

Samuel Lewis Foster
1924 - 2010
Warren - Samuel Lewis Foster, 86, died Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Community Skilled Health Care in Warren.
Mr. Foster was born April 12, 1924, in Tuscaloosa, AL, the son of Lewis and Sadie (Washington) Foster.
He served in the US Navy Seabees as a Motor Mac, 3rd Class.
He worked at Shaffer Equipment as a press operator for 30 years. He also worked as a sorter for the US Postal Service.
Mr. Foster was a member of the American Legion, John Gillum Post, and was a Master Mason.
He leaves behind two sons, David Foster of San Francisco, CA and Jon Foster of Warren; a daughter, Dianne Foster of Chicago, IL; a sister, Lula Lee of Warren; five grandchildren, Jon, Marc, Colin, Dayton and India Foster: and five great grandchildren.
His parents, wife, Dorothy (Hendricks) Foster and son, James Foster preceded him in death.
There were no services held.
Dorothy A. Mariani
1920 - 2010
Masury - Dorothy A. Mariani, 90, died Saturday evening, October 23, 2010 at Orange Village Care Center in Masury, Ohio, after an extended illness.
Dorothy was born February 24, 1920, in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of Nicholas and Amelia (Stauffer) Dellinger.
Dorothy was a former employee of Mullins Mfg. and Trumbull Lamp and also a member of the Niles Historical Society.
She spent her last years at Orange Village Care Center where she made many friends. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, needle work, bingo, and helping others.
Her husband, Mike Mariani, died in 1992.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Amelia (Amy) Newell of Liberty; sisters, Betty Shorthouse, of Winter Park, Fla, Gladys Barnhart of Pulaski, PA, Thelma Johnson of Warren, Sally Lou Bacher of Austintown; and two grandchildren, Michael Gregory of Hartford and Kristina Gregory of Liberty.
She was preceded in death by her husband, sisters, Marion McCloskey, Janette Gallite, Lorraine Piecuch and Lillian Dellinger; brothers, Robert and Larry Dellinger.
There were no services. Inurnment to take place in Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
